Today, <\/span>sports lighting<\/a> is subject to constant change, but it is also<\/span><\/b> due to technological innovation and the requirements of an increasingly demanding user. The flexibility of the spaces for their profitability, the sustainability of the infrastructures, the need for comfort for the sportsperson and sports broadcasts are all elements that push us to look for lighting alternatives that meet the needs of the new spaces. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

To achieve a safe <\/span>and comfortable experience<\/span><\/b> these spaces must be properly set up: schedules and type of practices are changeable depending on the season, the season of the year, the location of the facility and a large number of conditioning factors. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

One of the sports venues that has joined the change is th<\/strong>e<\/strong><\/span>Marcel Cerdan Sports Palace<\/a> in Levallois (Paris)<\/span><\/b> , specifically the large sports hall used for high-level sports competitions in basketball, volleyball and boxing.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

As part of its heritage enhancement policy, <\/span>the City of Levallois has carried out a number of works, including <\/span><\/b>numerous works, including the renovation of the <\/span>the renovation of the lighting of the Marcel Cerdan Sports Palace.<\/span><\/b>. Prilux’s role in the renovation of the Marcel Cerd\u00e1n Sports Palace<\/span><\/b><\/h3>\n

Prilux has worked in detail <\/span><\/b>on a customized project to achieve the objectives desired by the City Council: <\/span>energy efficiency and adaptation of the lighting to the current requirements of the French Basketball Federation. <\/span><\/b> and the recommendations of the International Basketball Federation for high-level competitions. By Lumi\u00e8re Service and the installer Lebrun et Fils, <\/span>a lighting renovation project has been carried out on two fronts: the court and the grandstand area. <\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/p>\n

In order to provide optimal lighting, both for players and for television broadcasts on the court, <\/span>high-performance Hexagon Arena 3X<\/a> floodlights from Prilux have been installed.<\/span><\/b> These projectors provide illumination that significantly reduces post-production of images during TV broadcasts, allows cameras to achieve great sharpness and offers colour-enhancing colour temperature. In addition, they provide uniform and comfortable lighting for the players on the pitch and for the spectators in the stands. On the other hand, in the grandstand area, <\/span>Hexagon Essential floodlights have been installed to reinforce the lighting points and improve the safety of the area. <\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/p>\n

Energy costs have been significantly reduced by replacing more than 250 metal halide light points with 70 points with LED technology.<\/span><\/b>.<\/span> <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The new lighting infrastructure has, in turn, a control system installed <\/span>that allows management of the lighting to adapt it to the needs of the moment.<\/span><\/b>. Three different scenarios have been defined for this purpose: <\/span>high-level competitions, high-level competition with TV broadcasting and maintenance mode<\/span><\/b>. Each scenario provides a change of intensity of the projectors, as well as the switching on of the necessary light points at any given moment. Today, the Marcel Cerd\u00e1n Sports Palace, thanks to its new lighting installation, has achieved and surpassed its objectives. A few weeks after commissioning, the customer noted the smooth operation of the infrastructure:<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>“The councillors of Levallois are delighted with the final result of the lighting. We have done a super top job, I am very happy and so is Lebrun et Fils. I’m very happy and so is Lebrun et Fils – bravo Prilux!”<\/span><\/i> <\/span><\/p>\n
