Dynamic lighting of the Torre del Agua in Pilas (Sevilla)

The Torre del Agua de Pilas, an old water tank and symbol of the municipality, has been the subject of a revitalisation project to give it a new life in terms of both its use and its image. Inside, a multifunctional centre has been created, while on the outside a dynamic lighting system designed to highlight its heritage value and connect with the public has been implemented. The need was clear: to provide the tower with decorative, versatile and remotely controllable lighting, allowing it to be integrated into the municipal remote management system.

Implemented Solution: Versatile lighting with intelligent control

For this purpose, 39 LED PAD RGBW with Casambi control system have been installed, which allows the programming of lighting scenes remotely via Gateway and SIM card. This solution provides dynamism and flexibility, allowing the colours and effects of the lighting to be modified according to events, festivities or specific needs of the municipality. RGBW technology creates unique atmospheres, adapting the lighting to each occasion and turning the tower into a visual landmark in the urban landscape.

Results: An illuminated space that evolves with the city

The result is dynamic lighting that not only enhances the architecture of the Water Tower, but also makes it a living element within Pilas. The possibility of adjusting the lighting in real time allows for greater interaction with the inhabitants, offering a striking and constantly evolving visual experience. Furthermore, the integration with the municipal remote management ensures efficiency and sustainability, optimising energy consumption. This project is a clear example of how innovation in lighting can enhance the heritage value and reinforce the identity of a municipality.
