In order to provide perfect lighting for both players and television broadcasts on the court, Prilux’s Hexagon Arena 3X high-performance floodlights have been installed.
Recommended solution
Prilux has worked in detail on a customised project to achieve the desired goals of the City Council: energy efficiency and adaptation of the lighting to the current requirements of the French Basketball Federation and the recommendations of the International Basketball Federation for high-level competitions. With the help of Lumière Service and the installer Lebrun et Fils, a lighting renovation project was carried out on two fronts: the court area and the grandstand area.

Results
There has been a significant reduction in energy costs by replacing more than 250 metal halide light points with 70 points using LED technology. On the other hand, it is now possible to adapt the level of lighting to the requirements of high competition, offering optimum lighting for TV broadcasting with a simple control system that evolves over time. In consequence, the space now has a lighting infrastructure that is up to the task of its sporting activity.
