Efficient and Connected Lighting - Avda. Auxiliadora in Rota (Cádiz)
The modernization of Avenida María Auxiliadora in Rota responds to the need to improve urban mobility and reduce energy consumption. 80% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), this project has replaced the old sodium vapor lighting with efficient LED technology, integrating it into a more sustainable and intelligent city model.
Results and Benefits
Thanks to the new lighting, safety and comfort on the road have been improved, optimizing energy consumption through point-to-point remote management. The remote adjustment capability allows the light to be adapted as needed, reducing costs and CO₂ emissions. In addition, the installation of smart crosswalks enhances safety at crossings.
