Efficient Outdoor Lighting at Sesimbra Campsite (Portugal)
Located in a privileged natural environment, the campsite in Sesimbra, Portugal, needed an outdoor lighting solution that would provide safety, visual comfort and energy efficiency without affecting the aesthetics of the surroundings. The lighting had to guarantee adequate visibility for the users of the campsite, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment at night, without generating light pollution or glare.
Solution Implemented
To achieve these objectives, Prilux LIVIA luminaires were installed, designed to offer a balance between performance and aesthetics. These luminaires feature IP66-IP67 protection, S150L1M optics, and an adaptable color temperature (3,000K – 4,000K), providing warm and efficient lighting. With a luminous flux of up to 6,897lm, these solutions ensure excellent light distribution, minimizing the visual impact on the natural environment. In addition, the installation was prepared for future integration with remote management systems, which will allow optimized management of energy consumption.
Results
The new lighting has transformed the campsite, improving the safety and comfort of users while enhancing the environment without altering its natural essence. The result is a well-lit, efficient and sustainable space that respects the harmony of the landscape and reduces energy consumption in the long term. Thanks to the quality and technology of LIVIA luminaires, this project is a benchmark for functional and aesthetic outdoor lighting, ensuring a safe and pleasant experience for visitors to the campsite.
