Street lighting on Malaga's seafront promenade

The aim of the project was to provide the Antonio Banderas and Antonio Machado promenade in Malaga with new lighting in accordance to current weather conditions. For this purpose, two NETTA luminaires have been installed per mast in colour temperature 3000K. Likewise, an additional light point has been incorporated in the form of a NANTES floodlight facing the beach, so as not to leave this area completely dark and thus provide safety for passers-by.

Uniformity and safety in street lighting on the promenade

A much higher uniformity has been achieved than was previously the experience with the sodium solution. The lighting levels have also been brought into line with current regulations. Colour reproduction has been significantly improved, and finally, the field of vision in the beach area, close to the promenade, has been enlarged.

Installed luminaires

The Netta and Nantes luminaires in 3000K with a dimming curve, as specified by Malaga City Council, were the products selected to meet the objective: to optimise the public lighting installations in the city of Malaga.
