We have received the award from the Toledana Business Federation (Fedeto) for its Corporate Social Responsibility policy. This award recognizes the effort of the group to become aware of the responsibility as a company within society in general and the province of Toledo in particular. During the last year, Prilux has collaborated with associations in the immediate vicinity such as Down Toledo, APANAS or Cáritas.
“Corporate Social Responsibility is part of our DNA as a company. From our position in society we look for ways to help and collaborate with those groups and organizations that need us. There are many ways to help but the objective is only one: to be aware of the needs of our society and to take responsibility for what we can achieve as a company”, says Francisco Esteban, Human Resources Director at Prilux.
These awards were presented on Friday 23 November at 20.00 in the auditorium of the Beatriz Hotel in Toledo. An event to which between 800 and 1,000 people were invited, including members of the Prilux team led by the founders of the company Juan Pretel García and his wife Cristina Recio Jaén, who collected the award. This 22nd edition of the Fedeto Business Awards featured the humorist Leo Harlem and the performance of the Alaska orchestra. The event was also attended by Ángel Nicolás García, president of Fedeto, who welcomed the event, and Milagros Tolón Jaime, mayoress of Toledo; as well as Álvaro Gutiérrez Prieto, President of the Provincial Council of Toledo, and Manuel González Ramos, Delegate of the Government of Spain in CLM.
