OFFICE WORKING AREAS HAVE CHANGED THE NEW ENVIRONMENTS ADOPT CONCEPTS OF OPEN SPACES PROVIDING SPACIOUSNESS, THE DISAPPEARANCE OF TRADITIONAL BARRIERS AND WORKSPACES WITHOUT FIXED WORKSTATIONS, BUT MAINTAINING AREAS THAT FAVOUR VIDEOCONFERENCING OR MEETINGS.
In such spaces, light acquires a fundamental value and must be correctly adapted to the needs of the offices, allowing the visual health of users, comfort, wellbeing and productivity to be taken care of.
New environments require higher lighting performance, taking into account that inadequate visual conditions are a risk to the health and safety of employees. When talking about these requirements, they should be linked to issues such as efficiency at the working level.
In the search for the most suitable lighting, Prilux has developed Stania, the ideal screen to provide the visual comfort and lighting requirements demanded by the standard.
Stania: design, performance and comfort
Stania is the new high-performance LED display. Its features make it suitable for applications such as offices, conference rooms, classrooms or any other area where it is necessary to control glare, uniformity, savings and efficiency.
Work environments sometimes have lighting installations with inadequate levels of glare, high levels of flicker, excessively cool colour temperatures and inadequate colour rendering that cause strain, eye fatigue, headaches and low user productivity.
Stania stands out for its glare control by providing the space with batwing photometric lighting that controls the emission of the luminous flux and contributes favourably to obtaining a UGR<. In addition, it has colour temperature options in 3000K and 4000K, and a colour rendering of 90.
STANIA, whose photometric distribution and power, combined with high efficacy, contributes to achieving greater lighting uniformity by allowing greater spacing between luminaires, thus reducing consumption (installed power) and facilitating assembly and maintenance by reducing the number of points installed.
In terms of aesthetics and design, Stania was created as an adaptable and customisable luminaire with reflectors in different colours and finishes that provide great versatility, both aesthetically and in terms of lighting. In addition, with a clear, unobtrusive and universally applied design, it has a high potential for high aesthetic value. This uniform lighting, mainly applied on the working plane, provides a complete level of light over the useful surface and gradually reduces the illumination in passage areas when combined with other types of luminaires such as downlights or adjustable recessed luminaires, it provides dynamism to the spaces.
In terms of technical specifications, it stands out:
- Electrical installation and connection by means of a 3 or 5-pole quick-connect terminal block, depending on DALI dimming.
- High transparency pmma optics combined with a high vacuum metallised reflector.
- Light source: 2835 LED platform with medium power and high efficiency LEDs.
- Luminous flux of up to 4,000lm and an efficacy of up to 154lm/W.
- Colour temperature and colour rendering.
Finally, Stania has DALI technology that is compatible with control systems such as the White Adaptive System (WAS).
